Free New Vegas texture mod

NMC’s Texture Pack For New Vegas is a free mod that adds more realistic textures to Fallout: New Vegas. You’ll find new graphics elements for objects like trees, roads, vehicles, landscapes, and more. There are also several medium to large objects that it changes appearances for, giving them a new polish and shine for high-end PCs.

There are two ways you can install NMC’s Texture Pack, namely, via FOMM or manually. Each one can be challenging to perform if you’re new to mods, and you’ll need to retry if you don’t get it right the first time. For other New Vegas add-ons, you can try Nevada Skies, Starcraft Ghost Mod, and Guards of Goodsprings.

Brand new textures

At the helm of the features in NMC’s Texture Pack For New Vegas are the new textures you can add to the game. It improves the graphics and enhances the visuals for several of the in-game objects. You’ll see gorgeous roads, trees, landscapes, interiors, and buildings. Some of the objects that received facelifts include the cola vendors, toolboxes, cupboards, and chairs.

Elements not covered

While there’s plenty to take in with NMC’s Texture Pack For New Vegas, some elements are excluded for the time being. If you have any issues with these aspects, it may be one of your other mods causing a conflict. These items include water, sky, faces and bodies, posters, weapons, decals, fonts and text, and the Pipboy, to name a few.

Ways to install NMC’s Texture Pack For New Vegas

Whether you’re installing the mod via the Nexus Mod Manager, Fallout Mod Manager, or manually, you’ll need to select one of three packages. While they all contain the same files and textures, the sizes are based on the resolution you intend on using. Once you’ve selected which one you want, you’ll need to carefully follow the developer’s instructions on the mod page.
